SPIKE
Spike is a wonderful BIG kitty who loves just hanging out. He will follow you from room to room, and just wants to be where you are – he is not a pest at all, but he just wants to be where the family is! He sits next to you on the couch. He curls up beside you in bed. He sits near to you while you prepare your dinner. You get the idea! Looking for a bit of feline company, then you have found your chap!
Spike is a kitty who is looking for someone to give him a safe, warm, forever home. He loves chin scratches and being made a fuss over. He loves human company and could live with other pets if they were laid back and gave him his own space. He would happily live with full time workers or with someone who was home all day, either way he is happy. Spike would suit a home with older children, around 10 years plus, only because he does not like being picked up.
Spike is 17 years young and has suffered from UTI’s pretty much his entire life. But he is litter tray trained, so will just need a calm and stable home. He is in good overall health apart from being very every so slightly hyperthyroid. His tablets costs less than 40p a day and if you live near our vets in Romford, we can help you with his 6 monthly blood tests to discount the cost to being only £25. He takes his tablets no problem – wrapped in a tiny bit of cheese!
He needs a new home after being passed from family member to family member to family member and now no one else could take him. Please note that he can never, ever be fed dry food, or treats such as dreamies, as this could worsen the chance of a UTI reoccurring.
